I have also read Radical Remission. Not totally done with it yet but I like the stories. They give you hope and a sense that you do have some control on what the hell is going on with your body. Breaking Bad is a must!

Shay, I love, love, love that book! I haven't finished it yet but friend gave it to me to help my daughter with her feelings about the divorce and her dad and all the anger, hurt and resentment she was feeling. They take it out on the ones they love the most and they trust won't go anywhere. I have used things in that book many times and am amazed and just acknowleging their feelings really helps. And we went to therapy a few times and she just reinforced that we don't have to "fix" them or the situations, just allowing them to have the feelings and normalizing them is key. Keep reading and doing what your doing! And if you ever need to chat, I know we have TOTALLY different situations, but our kids are about the same age. Happy to help you brainstorm.

Reading: "Radical Remission: Surviving Cancer Against All Odds" by Kelly Turner PhD
Watching: "Breaking Bad" Starting over and enjoying it again on Netflix
Listening to: "Miranda Lambert Radio" on iHeart. Never been a country fan but it's become hard rock with funny lyrics and twang.
Eating: Vegetarian chili, Thai stuff, a bit of tofu. Animal flesh comes from organic chicken, don't really miss the beef and pork.
Caring About: Among other things, you. I think of you often as I believe now we have become soul-mates. Say Hi to your family, and remind The Boy that he has an uncle in Indianapolis that plays a Stratocaster.

I am glad to hear about your talk, I had a feeling that Aidan was not expressing himself but you should talk everyday at the fire pit. I like that area except for the mosquitoes. Being a parent is a continuing process even when they are 45 and 41. Talking to your children as adult to adult can be very tricky. Keep it up!
I love the Outlander especially Jamie but bathing and teeth brushing were really iffy, he still looks good.
Sunday on PBS the Roosevelts are starting it is by Ken Burns. I like watching Miss Marple anything from the British Isles love there accents.
You all have a relaxing weekend and cleaning out the cabinets. You can bring the TV from the screened in porch to the kitchen, won't miss a second of football.
Love you lots,lots,lots Momee
