Happy Memorial Day Readers!
It is very rainy here in the ATL. We were lucky that the rain held off till dinner time on Saturday. It poured down for a awhile and when it stopped My Man turned on the jacuzzi and the boys hung out there for a bit. It rained off and on all day Sunday but it did not stop The Boy or everyone else (but me) from getting in the pool throughout the day. I felt worn out all day and ended up going to bed around 9:30pm. I read a little and then fell asleep around 10pm. Feeling more awake today, which is good. I have some work to do plus I want to start packing for my stay in the hospital later this week.
On Saturday I received an e-mail from one of my readers, Alison. She is a friend of my sister-in-law, Robin, who reads the blog. She was driving into through Detroit the other day and snapped a picture of the Hotel Yorba for me. So Cool! Thank you Alison!
Here are some pictures from the weekend. Even with the rain, the weekend was a success! Looking forward to when we all get back together.
Looks like good time and great memories… It was also rainy in Harbor Springs on Sunday too! Today it feels likefall here and misty rain. Madelyn will be starting her first day of PreSchool tomorrow! We will also be heading back to Grand Rapids in another hour.
Have a good week, thinking of you!
Take care!

Glad you aren’t feeling so tired today. Hopefully you will get a chance to rest today. Thanks so much for having us. It was so good spending time with you all. Looking forward to when we can get together again. I see US meeting up in Nashville early 2014 :). We love you all.

Rainy today but a great day wrapping things up in house and reading. Loved the picture of Hotel Yorba, is it a hotel or empty? Looks like you had a great time with Andy and Dee, you look good hope that you are resting up for the next round. Love you lots, Momee
Nita, I think it’s a residency hotel for recently released state prison felons. I believe I read that somewhere. Very bad area of the city. Is there a good area, I wonder?
Haha…I also wish you a Happy Labour Day, from Canada!!
You’re welcome Shay!! Just wanted you to know that you’re thought of from afar. Good luck and prayers for strength in the days ahead.
Glad you had a great time. That boy sure does have some long legs, doesn’t he?
