Good Morning!

Good Morning Reader’s!

Did you get to sleep in an hour later today? The Boy decided to come into our room around 7:45am, climbed into our bed and then began to talk non-stop. Good Morning to me. I got up and took Timber out to the backyard. The sun is out and the weather has cooled down again, it looks like it will be a nice day today. I am sure Timber will think it is perfect ball throwing weather.

We went to see Dr. Read, my oncologist, on Friday. We had to bring The Boy with us because the appointment was later in the day and we knew there was no way that we would be able to get home in time to pick him up from the bus stop. He was really well-behaved at the hospital even though Dr. Read was running late. I didn’t mind as much, since I knew he was in the building (unlike Dr. P.) and he apologized for the wait (unlike Dr. P.). We went over a what could happen after the surgery. It looks as though I am done with chemo. Woot! Come on hair! Depending on how much of the tumor Dr. P. gets out (hopefully all) and if it is dead or not, will determine our next course of action. If all goes well, I will start Pulmonary Therapy. Dr. Read wants to get my lungs in the best shape possible in case the cancer comes back. He said he wants the treadmill to fear me.

“So you are going to write me a prescription to workout?”

“Yes.”

“Cool.”

The other option is radiation. I really hope that is not the case but I will whatever I have to do to get better.

My cousin Ashley sent me this picture of this gorgeous hen. She wants me to get one. We are planning on getting two new hens in the Spring. If we are lucky enough to get a hen like her, I would name her Zazzy.

We spent yesterday at friend’s house watching the Michigan State/Michigan game. Woot! Woot! Michigan State! It was a great game and the best part was that Michigan State beat them soundly. Next week is the big Alabama/LSU game. Roll Tide Roll!!

How was your Saturday? Did your football team win yesterday?

  1. We watched Auburn but Dad jumped from one station to the next so he watched several games. I read and that means I saw nor heard any of them. Dad took the vette out on the interstate and got it up to 80. Cars are washed ready for the next trip to Georgia. See you tomorrow, love you lots.
